What ASSA is

ASSA lets streamers who broadcast to more than one platform manage their moderators' permissions in one place. You decide, action by action, what a moderator may do; ASSA projects that intent onto the platforms you use and keeps one shared record of what then happened on them.

ASSA is a governance layer. It decides intent, drives platform state toward it, and records what occurred.

What ASSA cannot do — please read this

This is the most important section of the agreement, and it is written so you understand the product rather than as a disclaimer.

To do their job a moderator has to work in the platform's own interface. ASSA makes them a real moderator there — and the instant it does, the platform grants them its full native moderator powers. ASSA cannot narrow those.

Concretely: somebody you granted only a timeout permission in ASSA is technically able to ban on the platform. ASSA **cannot prevent** that; when it happens, ASSA detects it, records it and notifies you.

For that reason, when you assign somebody as a moderator you remain responsible to the platform for everything they do there. Decide who you grant access to accordingly.

Your account

You need an account to use ASSA. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us and for the security of your account.

Actions taken through your account are attributed to you. If you believe your account has been used without your permission, change your password and tell us.

The streaming platforms have their own age and eligibility requirements. To use ASSA you must meet the requirements of the platforms you use it with.

Connecting your platform accounts

For ASSA to assign moderators on your behalf you have to authorise it against your account on the streaming platform. When you do, ASSA uses that authorisation only to do the job the product does.

You can withdraw it at any time. When you unlink through ASSA, ASSA forgets the access token — with one limit worth stating: ASSA deleting the token does not withdraw the permission the platform granted. To remove it completely you also need to revoke ASSA's access in that platform's own account settings.

The platforms' own terms

ASSA does not replace your relationship with YouTube, Twitch or Kick. Your agreement with those platforms is between you and them, and using ASSA does not exempt you from it.

You may not use ASSA to circumvent a platform's rules, to evade an enforcement action taken against you, or to run automation a platform does not permit.

If a platform changes its rules and no longer accepts something ASSA does, we may have to remove or restrict that functionality.

Acceptable use

When using ASSA you agree not to:

• Use the service to reach an account or channel that is not yours
• Attempt to exceed rate limits, load the service with automated tooling, or disrupt it
• Attempt to obtain audit records or other users' data without authorisation
• Use third-party data obtained through ASSA for any purpose other than the one it was collected for
• Use the service for any purpose contrary to applicable law

Your moderators and the permissions you grant

You decide who to invite into your workspace and what to grant them.

ASSA gives you the tools for that decision: permissions granted individually, reusable templates, revocation at any time, and an audit feed showing what people then did. The decision itself is yours.

When you remove a moderator, ASSA also attempts to revoke their moderator status on the platform. That is a network operation and it can fail; if it does, ASSA tells you and asks you to remove them by hand. Once notified, completing that is your responsibility.

Availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep ASSA running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service.

ASSA depends on third-party platforms we do not control. When a platform is down, rate-limits us, or changes its API, ASSA's functionality for that platform is affected.

We may suspend the service temporarily for maintenance, updates or a security reason. For planned downtime we will try to give notice.

Liability

ASSA is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude implied warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

Our liability is not limited in cases of intent or gross negligence, nor where applicable law does not permit limitation — in particular for injury to life, body or health, and where consumer protection law applies.

Otherwise our liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for an agreement of this kind.

ASSA is not responsible for what your moderators do on a streaming platform. ASSA cannot prevent those actions; it detects and reports them.

Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. The deletion process and retention periods are described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close your account if you materially breach these terms. Where we do, we will tell you why, unless a security reason requires us to act immediately.

When your account closes, the platform access tokens ASSA held on your behalf are deleted. Revoking the permission on the platform side remains in your hands.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant we will notify the email address on your account. Continuing to use ASSA after a change means you accept the new terms.
